Recently I’ve been busy most Monday evenings preparing for WordCamp Manchester, and we’re happy to announce that we’re good to go!

The conference is held in the MMU Business School on 10th October, and the tickets – which include lunch and a t-shirt with the logo (you can read more about the logo here) – are £30. We also have a contributor day the next day in MadLab.

I’ve never really organised a conference before, instead usually my conference experience is usually only an attendee, so it’s been a great experience if hard work to see what happens behind the curtain, and what goes into organise them. If you’re thinking about it be warned: it’s incredibly hard work.

Nevertheless, there’s been a great team I’ve been involved with – you can read about the team here – and I’m looking forward to help put on a great conference for the Manchester WordPress community, who have given me so much.

As of right now the tickets aren’t available, they will go live within the next couple of weeks, but we do have the Call for Sponsors and the Call for Speakers open. If you want to support a WordCamp, either by sharing your knowledge or help cover the costs, then we’d be delighted to speak to you.

If not, hopefully we’ll see you at WordCamp in
