Hello WordCamp Edinburgh, I’m Rhys

I haven’t done one of these for a while, but WordCamp Edinburgh is this weekend and I’m looking forward to it immensely.

This is the third WordCamp this year (behind London & Manchester), and the first one outside of the country (yeah, as a Welshman, I recognise Scotland as a separate country!).

I look forward to meeting the Scottish WordPress community, it’s been absolutely crazy the last few months and I’m not going to lie, I’ve lost focus on various things. Hopefully I hope to regain focus at WordCamp Edinburgh.

As well as network with the general crowd, which is always interesting (as looking at the attendee list there are a fair few fresh faces), I’m particularly looking to speak to individuals interested in the following:-

• Anybody who would be interested in taking over Easy Digital Downloads – Taxamo integration (read why I am giving it up here).
• Theme developers who would be interested in integrating WP Taxi Me with their themes.
• Any product developers, I’m interested in picking your brains on promotion and restarting projects.
• Any front end developers in Manchester and looking for a challenge (as FireCask are hiring!)
