So, once again it’s time for me to say – hello WordCamp Brighton, Dwi’n Rhys!
It was at last year’s Brighton that I made some amazing connections – I’d just recently gone freelance (though I was on a 3 week sabbatical) but the insight and connections were amazing, both from the attendees and speakers, it really helped get my head in order in the challenges ahead.
One year later, I’m delighted to head back and give back in my own little way. I’ll be delivering “A Developer’s Guide to Working With Marketing Teams“. The talk is designed to help developers and marketers work together and it’s presented from a developer standpoint. I hope you can attend it!
Who I’m looking to Meet
In a weird/wonderful situation, I’m rather busy at the moment, so I’m looking to possibly discuss ideas for outsourcing and scaling WordPress work, as I’m fast approaching capacity. Ideally to begin with I’d look to finish off side projects, or get things done (in terms of writing blog posts). So any tips for freelancers to upscale work would be incredibly welcoming!
So About Me
So, Hello – Dwi’n Rhys! I’m a WordPress developer (with previous community experience as a co-organiser of Manchester WordCamp 2017), WordCamp speaker, and commercial plugin author. You can check out my plugins eBay Feeds for WordPress, Inline Tweet Sharer & WP Taxi Me (as well as my other free plugins). You can use the code WCBTN20 to get 20% off any of my plugins until the end of the month.
If you’re going, please say hi (I’ll probably be wearing a check shirt and a Britwres t-shirt). I’m looking forward to meeting and networking with you all!
